Auckland Harbour Attractions

Auckland City Sky Tower AttractionAuckland Harbour has many attractions, both within the Hauraki Gulf harbour and beyond. Perhaps check with your Auckland Harbour Cruise charter company, what island visits, scenic views, guided tours, city visits, and if City Hotel or Motel accommodation is included. In addition to boat and sailing cruises, there are also many guided walking tours to consider, on the harbor's inner and outer islands. This includes Rangitoto, Waiheke, Motutapu, and Great Barrier Islands, which offer vineyard tours, beach strolls, nature trails, and other related treks. Of course their are also land based attractions not far from the harbour. This includes the Viaduct, Marina, Sky Tower Casino, Kelly Tarltons Antarctic Adventure on Tamaki Drive (Google Street View), Aotea Centre, Queen Street (info site), local beaches, and more.
